After a promising start to the NSW Women's NPL season, Bruce Tilt's side have suffered back-to-back defeats to Sydney University (4-2) and Bankstown (1-0), and will be eager to turn that form around against Blacktown.
"Every game is important to win, but when you're going through a little bit of a patch at the moment where you think you're playing okay but not getting the results, we've certainly got to turn that around," he said.
"We've lost Caitlin Cooper to the Matildas squad, and Blacktown have lost a couple as well, so both teams will be relying on some back-up players to step in there and do the job. So it will be an interesting opposition to play against. They've got (Maja) Markovski, who is a big danger, but I think the girls are all positive. Even though it's been damp out there, they've been very keen to train and get themselves ready for the weekend."
