All were standouts in Illawarra's talent-stacked SG Ball side in 2019, steering the Steelers to the title, but have experienced less footy than they would've liked since due to COVID disruptions.
They'll play together for the first time as a three-piece at NRL level against the Rabbitohs on Saturday, having done so throughout their junior footy.
Sloan has earned a recall at fullback, while Sullivan retained his place in the halves and Amone will get his second start in the centres, with his four other NRL games this year having come from the bench.
Fellow Steelers SG Ball alum Mat Feagai has also retained his place on the wing having produced a strong performance on an otherwise forgettable afternoon against the Titans last week.
Having seen how in-sync they are on the training park, Kerr says fans have plenty to look forward to.
"It's a bit like the Penrith boys in a sense where they've all come up through the juniors together," Kerr said.
"They were obviously massive stars coming through the junior systems and you can see the click and connection they have at training. When they have their confidence, they just play what's in front of them and it's rugby league how you want to see it played.
"They're out there having fun. There's structure to it, but it's unstructured as well. You might see a little chip and chase from Sully or something like that.
"Obviously they're early in their careers and you don't want to put pressure on them, but the more they play and the more confident they get, the more natural football you'll get to see them play.
"I hope they can cement themselves in the team because then we'll all get to see the kind of football they bring to the table."
It's a sense of optimism hard to find elsewhere following disappointing losses to Manly and Gold Coast in the club's last two outings.
With suspensions for breaching COVID protocols still putting a weekly dent in Anthony Griffin's 17, the Dragons are at staggeringly long odds to upset the Rabbitohs in Rockhampton.
Kerr said they'll be looking to utilise that underdog status and maintain their position in the top eight where they currently sit eighth with a 8-10 record.
"The last few weeks we've really beaten ourselves," Kerr said.
"We had a look at the clips from the Titans game and they didn't really beat us with a lot of football, it was just effort areas and little things we can definitely fix this week.
"We're going to head into this game as massive underdogs, but I think if we gel together really well, play the way the way we want to play, and complete high, that's how you beat them.
"There's [still] a really good connection throughout the team, but we've got translate that onto the field. We've just got to start doing it with our actions and stop [just] talking about it."
