The woman learnt of her change of fortune on a holiday in South Australia.
"Oh my god! This is fabulous!" she screamed.
"I can't believe it! I've had a run of bad luck in the past few months, and our family has been dealing with health issues, so this has made my year. I hope it's only upwards from here.
"We're currently on our way to South Australia to have a little holiday, and we might even do some house hunting while we're here!
The Wollongong resident won $25,000 in the 30 Years of Keno promotion simply by purchasing a Keno ticket of $10 or more at a participating NSW Club.
"I've been playing Keno for about 30 years now, and it's a coincidence that I've won in the 30 years of Keno draw - how fantastic.
"I never expected to win big when I'd entered this draw initially. I won $10,000 in Keno about two years ago, which was great, but it's been a while since I've won anything else!"
When asked how she planned to enjoy her windfall, the New South Wales woman said she would put it away for now to help fund future adventures.
Her winning ticket was purchased at Thirroul Bowling Leagues and Recreation Club.
