A Brisbane man will face court charged with attempted murder after being accused of attacking another man with a spear.

The 58-year-old was refused bail after an argument with a 47-year-old man at a Vulture Street unit escalated last month.
The younger man was allegedly stabbed in the chest with a spear during the altercation.
He was treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
His alleged attacker was charged with attempted murder and burglary with circumstances of aggravation and is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
