Always first to the dancefloor: Jesse Baird and Luke Davies remembered

Mr Baird had finished working as a roving reporter for Network Ten in the weeks before his alleged murder and was "excited" to take the next steps in his television career.

Mr Davies was flourishing in his role as an international Qantas flight attendant and the pair was reportedly committed to their relationship and excited for a future together.

Constable Beau Lamarre-Condon was charged with two counts of murder after Mr Baird and Mr Davies were allegedly shot dead with a NSW Police service weapon on February 19 at Mr Baird's Paddington home.

Their bodies were found more than a week later in bushland near Bungonia in the Southern Tablelands of NSW.

Members of the NSW Police force participating in Sydney's Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade on March 2 were asked to leave their uniforms at home out of respect for the couple.

A wall of flowers and tributes has been arranged outside Mr Baird's Paddington home by friends and members of the community.

A Network Ten colleague of Mr Baird, Lee Constable, said that reflecting on memories, photos and videos of the presenter on February 28 made her "snort with laughter".

"There has been so much pain, anger and heartbreak lately but today looking through photos from over the years, watching back videos and then digging up the episode of Scope we filmed together, he brought a huge grin to my face," the science educator said.

"Jesse was such a natural entertainer. He could be sophisticated and charismatic and he could be an absolute goofball too. It's safe to say this beautiful man is going to make us all smile and laugh for years to come, even through the tears and heartache."

Mr Baird's friend Michael Brown shared a touching memory of their last evening together saying "I wish I said a proper goodbye to you last Sunday".

"I glanced over and you looked so happy with Luke, at the other end of the beer garden, which at the time felt so far away. I thought, I'll speak to you soon but I never would," he said.

Mr Davies was remembered as a brilliant international flight attendant with Qantas. His former coworker at Tigerair in Brisbane recalled the first time they met saying "one day I opened the L1 door and Luke was standing there smiling away".

Former Qantas colleague Katie Matthews said "the whole Qantas family is shaken by grief. We are all so sorry this has happened. Sending out love to your family. Fly High Luke!"

The Voice and I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! star Jack Vidgeon shared his grief over the alleged murders saying "two beautiful souls now angels. I hope your families can now send you off with the peace they deserve".

"I had so many conversations with friends in the community over the weekend about how loved you both were. I know people in the community are feeling this deeply," he said.

A fundraiser has been established for both men to "give them the send off they deserve" and raise money for charities.

Mr Davies GoFundMe fundraiser has been running for six days and has far outstripped to target amount of $5,000. Around 1,000 people have donated to the fundraiser.

On February 29, more than $70,000 had been pledged to Mr Davies fundraiser by friends, colleagues, members of the community and well-wishers.

A fundraiser for Mr Baird was established on February 24, seeking to raise $30,000 for charities.

Almost $39,000 had been raised from more than 550 donations by February 29.
