Police have confirmed that a 24-year-old man struck by a train in Coledale has died.
The Berkeley man was seen sitting with his legs dangling over the Coledale Railway Station platform at about 1.30am on Sunday, November 25, moments before he was hit by a train.
The train driver had attempted to alert the man by sounding the horn. The man was dragged about 20 metres and suffered severe head and chest injuries.
He was flown to St George Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
