Back to Business Week runs from February 26 to March 4.
Kiama council’s economic development manager Megan Hutchison said there were a number of events taking place in the region during the week.
“The Kiama Small Business Forum is hosting New Year Resolutions for Business Success on Wednesday, March 1, to refocus efforts to develop greater competitive advantages in the marketplace,” Ms Hutchison said.
“We’re thrilled to have secured business coach and consultant Joanna Kubota of Global Solutions Strategies, who will share her strategies for business expansion.”
Other local events being held during Back to Business Week include From Strategy to Execution, which is on March 2 at Shellharbour.
Back to Business Week is a state government initiative that celebrates small to medium businesses and promotes and supports the critical role they play in local communities.
Ms Hutchison said Back to Business Week was a great opportunity for Kiama’s entrepreneurs to take the next step in their business planning.
“Kiama council also offers a range of services that can assist owners and operators at every stage of their business,” she said.
“We can help with starting a business, expanding your business and connect you to business opportunities – that includes training and grants.
“We also have experience with helping relocate a business into our region and identifying opportunities to invest in existing local businesses.”
Ms Hutchison said the advice and support provided included helping investors and entrepreneurs understand regional industry and community demographics and profiling.
