He traveled to Sydney with his wife Val Chamberlain who watched on as he was presented the Outstanding Contribution Award by NSW Police Minister Troy Grant.
Mr Chamberlain said it was also great recognition for Dapto Rotary and acknowledged Noel Field, Barry Hemley and John Robertson for their work. “Without you guys this award would not be possible,” he said.
Mr Chamberlain said he the other members of Dapto Rotary who worked with him all did what they do because they want to help their community. “It is amazing how some things that you enjoy turn into recognition”.
