The beachside home at 189A Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Thirroul sold for $2.6 million earlier this month.
Agent Trever Molenaar from Molenaar and McNeice said the single-level, three-bedroom home boasted spectacular panoramic views, and hadn’t been on the market for several decades.
“You can literally hear the waves breaking almost on your back doorstep,” he said.

Mr Molenaar said it was sold to an Illawarra buyer.
“There were six other buyers vying for it – a mix of Sydney and local (residents),” he told the Mercury.
“This is an important sale because this is a battle-axe… The one that was sold six weeks ago next door was the whole block, and that went for $2.5 million.”
Mr Molenaar said this sale reinforced that the top end of the market remained strong, and that “$3 million is the new $2 million” in this part of the region.
