The Sam Sultana trained sprinter will jump from box one in the fourth and final qualifier of the evening.
Uncle Donuts is yet to be beaten in three career starts and was successful on debut at the same track in 29.97 seconds.
A son of Kinloch Brae out of Cop A Sling, he has since won twice over the 400m at Richmond.
Unanderra trainer Loretta Rice was Six Sense (box three) in the same heat. The veteran bitch has previously posted a best time of 29.69 seconds at the track.
Her littermate Natalie Dedee will jump from box eight in the opening heat.
Race one of the evening jumps at 7.10pm, with the final to the Australia Day Cup set to take place the following week.
