Parker is hopeful of plotting a path through the Winter Carnival to the Queensland Derby next month.
In a positive sign for the Kembla trainer, Dark Dream looks to be in for a strong preparation up north.
The son of All American surged home to finish runner-up in the Listed South Pacific Classic (1400m) on day two of The Championships at Royal Randwick last Saturday.
"He went really good," Parker said.
"He hit a little flat spot over that 1400m when they were just a bit sharp but it's full steam ahead to Brisbane now."
Parker also has Virgilio and Red Dream nominated for races in Sydney on Wednesday.
The metropolitan meeting will be the first time races have been held on the new Kensington track, which has been out of action since November 2014.
Parker admitted the new surface provided an unknown factor for both of his stable’s runners.
"We won't really know until after the race if they handle it or not," he said.
"It could be one of those track that some just don't handle. That can happen sometimes. It really just depends on how the track plays."
Virgilio will contest the Ranvet Handicap (1300m), with Jason Collett set to steer.
The four-year-old fell short in three attempts to qualify for The Provincial Championships final, but Parker has opted to press on with the consistent gelding.
"It's been awkward to place him," Parker said.
"Obviously we were trying to qualify him for The Championships and that wasn'tt o be.
"He has a lot of weight, but I am happy with him."
Virgilio has the top weight of 59.5kgs.
Meanwhile, Red Dream will tackle the Bowerman’s Office Furniture Handicap (2400m).
“This looks like a nice race for him and the 2400m should suit him as well,” Parker said.
“It might just be a matter of if he handles the track.”
