IN THE NATION’S INTEREST?
Originally, the ABC was charged with the responsibility of broadcasting material in the nation’s interest and acceptable in every school and home, no matter the sex, age, race, religion, or politics of the audience. The ABC has now moved so far away from that charter it needs to be brought back in line - or be cut off from the $1 billion of tax payers’ money it uses to operate. Emma Alberici has recently been called out a couple of times for misreporting facts on the Government’s proposals. In the past few weeks we have also seen another ABC reporter, Andrew Probyn, report fake news. These two incidences of bias reporting have not been made in isolation, there have been others called out in recent years.

As well, we are now seeing or hearing about the puerile program hosted by a would-be, funny man called Tom Ballard. Since this trash has been on air it has been suggested that Mr Ballard be given a dictionary by the ABC, so he could learn a few other words besides the “F” word. If this wasn’t disgusting enough, we have now seen his audience exposed to the “C” word. The best response to complaints the ABC management can come up with is: Oh! But it’s comedy, and …but it’s on after all the children have gone to bed. But worst of all is the ABC’s defiant and ongoing stand in providing a platform for extreme Islamists to attack our Government and politicians, vilify the Jewish race and its religion, and denigrate ANZAC Day.

MALCOLM’S MISSED CHANCE
Joh Bjelke-Petersen is back and has morphed into Malcolm Turnbull and Scott Morrison. Joh always had visions into the future, where everybody could pay the same rate of tax. This latest effort by this silver tail Prime Minister, beggar’s belief. Low income earners are going to get a tax cut, which comes into effect in over a year’s time. Most will only get $200 for the year at best. Mean while the price of energy, cost of education, health and transport, to name a few will rise substantially. The corrupt big companies, mainly the banks, get a large cut and the serfs;(you and I) get some crumbs. The unemployed, homeless and poorly educated live in squalor; no blue sky for them. This budget is like looking into the crystal ball, where the sky is always bright, and no threatening storm clouds are in view. Climate change is not happening, Donald Trump isn’t rocking the world stage, Putin has retired, and the Korean situation has evaporated. Really, Malcom and Scott, what mugs do you feel you are talking to. Interest rates will eventually rise, housing prices are coming off a record high, more people are getting work, however, it is without security, inflation will kick in soon. It is hard to know what is going to happen tomorrow, little alone in three elections time. Even John Howard’s pork barreling and insight into the future didn’t have such heroic- stupid beliefs. I often wonder whether I am living in 2018, or in Feudal England. Malcolm you've missed your chance and are an even bigger disappointment than anyone could have imagined.

PEOPLE TALK OF RUNNING OVER CYCLISTS
If you read the road rules, the bicycle is a vehicle. The size/speed of one vehicle compared to another doesn't give an excuse for a driver/cyclist to be an asshole.
_ Denis
Same old bicycle haters they're always in a major hurry to get somewhere but seem to have the spare time to slow down as they go past and yell abuse. I ride a bike and drive a car so I have rego and a green slip on my vehicle I also have fully comprehensive insurance when riding a bike.It wouldn't bother me at all to pay rego on a bike but I would like to see the 100,000 motorists in NSW who haven't got rego or green slip cough up first.
