The waters around the ocean rocks that copped a pounding, would also have heaps of suspended free food for the drummer, bream and ever a few leather jackets.
Be careful of the swell, but try peeled royal red prawns as the drummer are suckers for these and the bream enjoy them also.
Be very careful and keep a watchful eye on the seas but the drummer season has kicked off with a bang locally, with some of the biggest pigs seen coming from the stones, so try weed, cabbage, cunje and royal red prawns fished in the washes and you should have no problems in gaining a good feed this weekend.

Anyone who has rock fished would have noticed the bright orange life buoy rings that have been strategically located along the entire NSW coast for a number of years now.
At the initiative of NSW ANSA/Sportfishing Association, these “angel rings” rings are placed at these identified more popular rock fishing sites to provide a first chance rescues if someone get accidentally washed in where it can be quickly throw into the water near them.
However it is most disappointing to learn that some pathetic and selfish people have removed them to decorate their fence or man cave.
The Police are now involved and are asking for ANY information on their whereabouts to be called in and referred to event number E1025921399 as it is an offence under ‘goods in custody
