A man charged with attempted murder over a stabbing at Unanderra last month has been identified in court as alleged Brothers 4 Life member Walid Youssef.

Police will the 27-year-old from Berkeley entered a unit on Bruce Street just before 7pm on June 24 and repeatedly stabbed 45-year-old Mick Chicharo, who had been visiting a friend.

Youssef allegedly fled the premises immediately after the confrontation.
