After Warrawong mum Jessica Arroyo gained 16 kilograms while pregnant with her second child in 2013 she wanted to lose the weight soon after her son was born.

The solution she found evolved into a business she started with just $300 in the bank. Now seven people are involved helping her sell her Weigh Less With Jess products throughout Australia and overseas.

Mrs Arroyo’s home-based online business has been so successful that someone anonymously nominated her for the 2018 AusMumpreneur Awards.

She doesn’t know who it was but after initially being told she was unsuccessful in the category she was originally nominated in Mrs Arroyo was then told she was a finalist in the Rising Star category. She flew to Melbourne on Wednesday for the national awards on Friday.
