The northern surburbs powerhouse wrapped up another hugely successful season over the weekend with a thrilling 3-2 grand final win over Wollongong United at WIN Stadium on Sunday.
The victory helped Bulli break a 32 year drought on grand final day and completed a title double for the season. Bulli will undoubtedly be one of the leading contenders to take home the silverware again in 2019.
Connery said the club would look towards signing next season’s squad in the coming weeks after their grand final celebrations wrap up.
“I am pretty confident most of the boys will be back on board,” he said.
“There is maybe some higher level honours waiting for some of these boys and that’s what they should be aiming for, but they would go with the club’s blessing.
“We don’t start signing until after [the season]. I think it is a disruption. We have tried it before and guys don’t want to talk about it.”
Bulli also have several youth grade and under 23’s players at the club with the potential to make the step up to first grade.
