The annual tournament carries a massive prize pool of $12,000, including a winner’s purse of $4000.
All teams play four games of just eight ends in the preliminary round, with the top four teams to qualify for the six end semi-finals, followed by an exciting six end final.

The day will also feature a Big Drive contest worth $500, plus a one-end One Bowl Knockout Pairs tournament with $500 for the winners.
Entry is $160 per team and remains open to all bowlers, with details from David Kelly at Figgy Bowlo.
The day honours Figgy Bowlo legend Greg Thurling who passed away in December 2015 after many years fighting leukemia.
Thurling was passionate about bringing world class bowls to Figgy Bowlo and he passed away during his club hosting the prestigious South Pacific Carnival in 2015. This year Figgy Bowlo also hosted the NSW Senior Inter-Zone Championships.
Figgy Bowlo is raising funds to support the Leukemia Foundation with a special $2500 Open Pairs tournament this Saturday aimed to help those living with the disease.
Thurling would be proud of the legacy he has left and how Figgy Bowlo have been able to make his dream of hosting top class bowls a reality.
Figgy Bowlo are coming off a successful 2018 with the club winning the Zone 16 Grade 6 pennant flag.
