A TITANIC FAILURE
To watch Prime Minister Scott Morrison rave on at the funeral of his Liberal Party's Blue Ribbon Seat of Wentworth on Saturday night, was like watching Captain Smith of Titanic fame blaming the disaster on a blocked toilet in First Class.

People are absolutely fed up with the antics of politicians across the entire political spectrum, Federal and State.
Bill Shorten can gain very little from the Liberal's Loss.
Shorten himself continues to lag further and further behind on the preferred Prime Minister opinion polls.
Labor could win the next election if they dumped Shorten without delay.
We always get what we vote for, and we need some really good representation in a hurry.
No more Big End of Town Somnambulists who walk the corridors of Canberra.

MISSING THE BOAT
Many in our Government ranks believe that renewable energy is unreliable due to its intermittent nature, and only coal fired power will produce energy cheaper and more reliably.
Well, perhaps we should consider the case of Lancaster, California.
The Mayor, Rex Parris is a long-time Republican, who happens to take climate change seriously and considers it a health and safety issue. In 2009, the town was in decline with unemployment at 17%.
Parris initiated the introduction of broadscale renewable energy with Tesla Battery support.
Now the town produces all its own energy. even exporting the surplus. Its energy prices are one quarter of what they had previously been, unemployment has fallen to 5 per cent and businesses are relocating to the town, because of low energy costs.
Are we missing the boat?

THE WRONG TARGET?
Dave Cox has written (Illawarra Mercury, October 20) concerning the emergency battery backup box on the NBN fibre to the premises connection.
He correctly states that this equipment is owned and maintained by NBN CO but then says that Telstra's service is going downhill.
Since NBN CO own the equipment Telstra has nothing to do with it, so I really can't see where his complaint against Telstra is valid.
Surely it is NBN Co's responsibility to service this equipment.

Is it true that the Liberal Party are quickly exposing their values, which is anger, revenge, falsification of facts and absolute sense of entitlement,
Tony Abbott, Eric Abetz, Peter Dutton, Michaelia Cash, Kelly O'Dwyer are driven by pure individual opportunism and selfishness and hate.
They have been carefully mentored by individuals such as John Howard and Peter Reith and good citizens of Australia are increasingly seeing this appalling behaviour.
