After bowling their opponents out for 137, the boys cruised to victory thanks to an unbroken 128-run partnership between Oliver Needham and Will Watson.
Needham scored an impressive 89*, while Watson was superb in support, notching 36* on the way to the eight-wicket victory. Lyndon Coward was the pick of the Greater Illawarra bowlers, claiming 4-24 off 10 overs.
The Greater Illawarra under 12 boys and under 13 boys suffered defeats to Inner West Harbour, however the under 15 boys had a more successful day, defeating Inner West Harbour by 66 runs.
Opener Liam Mackrell set the tone for the match, scoring a quality 78 as his team reached 5-196. Bailey Leadbitter then led the charge with the ball, claiming 3-21 off 10 as their opponents were bowled out for 130.
