Deidre and Alex Illes have been some of Kerry Parker’s most loyal supporters in recent times so he’d love to repay the faith by getting a mare like Heartlet some valuable black type this weekend.

The Illes have had city winners like Heavenly Anna and Heartlings in Parker’s stable, with Heartlet the latest to prove competitive at metropolitan level.
The daughter of Duke Of Marmalade has hardly put a foot wrong this preparation and will tackle the Listed Christmas Cup (2400m) this Saturday afternoon.
Parker concedes it will be her toughest test to date, but is keen to test Heartlet at Royal Randwick.
"The owners are breeders so if they can get some black type with her it will be very valuable," the Group 1 winning trainer said.
"They had Heartlings with me as well, which is her half sister, so any black type will increase the value of the family.
"We might give her two shots at black type [this preparation] if it warrants it.
"The horse is racing well."
Heartlet has missed the placings just once in seven runs this preparation, with two victories in that time.
It comes after she failed to finish no better than fourth in her maiden preparation.
"At her first preparation Jay Ford said there is something there but she is just not developed yet. She has come on now,” Parker said.
"When you push the limits saying to give her some time, you want to see them develop into themselves like she has.”
Heartlet will be ridden by Andrew Atkins on the weekend and will carry 53kgs.
"She doesn't get in well at the weights but that's the difference between benchmark and Listed racing really,” Parker said.
"The horse that beat her last start [Mazaz] meets her 4.5kgs better at the weights.
"There is a little bit of rain predicted though for later in the week so that should suit her."
Fellow Kembla trainer Gwenda Markwell has also nominated six-year-old mare Dress Rehearsal for the Cup.
Fields for Saturday’s meeting will be finalised on Wednesday morning.
Racing will also return to Kembla on Saturday.
