The Melbourne International Comedy Festival's Class Clowns competition encouraged 14 to 18-year-olds to bring a smile through storytelling, stand up, sketch or musical comedy (any format goes as long as it is only 3-5 minutes long).
State Final winners are flown to the National Grand Final to perform at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival on March 29 and be in the running to win $1500 for themselves and a $1000 workshop package for their school.
Those interested can also take part in a workshop held prior to the Wollongong Heat on March 13, at the Wollongong Town Hall.
The NSW State Final is march 25 at Riverside in Parramatta.
