Ravnjak rolling along after Pro-Am win
Cordeaux Heights' Tahnia Ravnjak has finished the ALPG Club Car Series off in style with a victory in last Friday's Findex Yamba Pro-Am.
It was a nail biter, however, and she got the job done with a birdie on the second playoff hole after her opponent, Western Australian Whitney Hillier could only make par.
Not only did the 25-year-old pick up a cool $3000 for her second win of the year, but she also collected a tidy $6500 for taking out the six-event Club Car title.
It will be a busy month or two for Ravnjak, with a couple of tournaments on the China LPGA Tour before she heads to Europe to take part in a European Access Tour event.
Ravnjak will return home at the end of April and will put the clubs away for a week after accepting the role of manager for the NSW Women's Golf Team, who will be defending their Australian Interstate teams title in Tasmania.
After spending a year on the Coaching staff at Campbell University in the United States after completing her college degree, It's a role Ravnjak is thrilled to take on.
"I can't wait to go away with the team. I am so excited for that," she beamed.
