Shane Andrew Hanson was drunk as a skunk and high on his disdain for "those Asians" when he left his own unique, smelly mark inside Lake Illawarra Police Station on the evening of January 4.
Police documents tendered in Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday reveal police were called to Dapto Railway Station just before 6.30pm to reports of a man seen yelling and waving a knife at a group of Asian people on the platform.
Officers said they noticed the handle of a knife protruding from Hanson's pants when they approached him and he was immediately handcuffed and searched. Police located a large kitchen knife down the front of his pants and a smaller kitchen knife concealed in the back of his pants.

When questioned about the weapons, Hanson told officers "there was a group of Asian c--ts staring at me giving me lip. I went off at them and then I ran to my son's house and grabbed knives to teach them a lesson. F--k those Asian and Thai c--ts. I'll fuck them up, I'll show them."
Hanson was taken to the police station at Oak Flats and placed in a holding dock, where he proceeded to unzip his jeans and urinate on the floor.
He was then moved to a larger cell containing a bed and a toilet, however ended up stuffing his blanket into the toilet bowl, causing it to overflow. Police said he then stripped naked, defecated into his underwear and smeared the poo all over the wall.
"He was able to spell [the word] "dogs" on the wall with his faeces," police said.
Hanson remained naked and again urinated on the floor before eventually falling asleep. Police said it cost $1,500 to have both cells professionally cleaned.
Hanson was charged with affray, property damage and having custody of a knife in public.
He pleaded guilty to the charges in court on Tuesday.
"Your behaviour that day was beyond the pale," said a far-from-amused Magistrate Roger Clisdell.
"I accept most of it came about because you were drunk but that doesn't excuse your behaviour.
"I'd like to have given you a toothbrush and made you clean up the mess but I can't do that, so you're going to do community service work to offset your appalling behaviour."
Hanson was placed on an 18-month community corrections order which includes 125 hours of unpaid work.
