A final round loss to eventual runners-up Queensland saw them finish with a 6-1 record.

Top juniors tee off
A field of over 200 has gathered in the Illawarra to contest the Illawarra Junior Masters.
The event is being held at Links Shell Cove and Kiama today and tomorrow.
The player to beat in the Boy's Section will be the Current NSW Boys team Captain, Harrison Crowe of St Michael's Golf Club.

Illawarra golfers had success over the Easter weekend in different parts of the state.
Darcy Boyd showed his back-to-back wins were no fluke by taking out the Toukley Cup with a three under 69 to win by three.
Another large contingent of Illawarra golfers travelled to Cowra for the annual Easter Classic.
Paul Fairall from Russell Vale won the event for a second straight year with a 36-hole total of two over par 144.
Fairall won by four shots.
Heads up for Mid-Amateur titles
A field of more than 200 will converge on Shoalhaven Heads golf course for the NSW Mid-Amateur Championship, which gets underway this Sunday.
Among them are 24 from the Illawarra are competing, including former Japanese Tour star Chris Campbell from Port Kembla who has recently regained his amateur status, and the Links Shell Cove trio of Anthony Brunero, Colin Mitchell and Danny Nesbitt.
Mark Johnston from the host club will be hard to beat, however, all are considered strong chances in the men's event.
Shoalhaven Heads Peta Griffin appears to be the best chance in the ladies and will be hoping to use her local knowledge to her advantage.
The winners of the Mid-Amateur will gain a start in the 2019 NSW Open at Twin Creeks in November (men), and the 2020 Women's NSW Open to be held at Dubbo Golf Club.
