The annual event, now in its 25th year, is the biggest fundraiser on the RSPCA's calendar, with participants able to pick between a 500m and 1.5km walk.
And while exercise is the main aim of the game, many a-discerning owner also chooses to dress their canine companions in the latest doggy fashion to add an extra bit of fun to the day.
This year's event also featured food and beverage stalls, musical entertainment and a jumping castle for the kids.
The annual nationwide event, dubbed Australia's biggest Doggy Day Out, raises funds for animals in need.
