The Nickelodeon obstacle challenge sees 12 teams of tweens tackle a SpongeBob SquarePants inspired course, with some finding themselves up against hanging jellyfish and slippery slime holes.
The Illawarra cousins called themselves the Bowtiful Besties and were pitted against two siblings from New Zealand.
"We made lots of friends, especially with the Thunder Fam [siblings Libee and Nate from New Zealand] because obviously we were versing them," Georgia said.
"They were just so nice and we made sure even though we were competing against each other that we were nice to each other.
"It was nice to meet new people and they had an accent ... so it was really cool."
Both girls think their sporty hobbies helped them navigate the slippery obstacle course - Georgia plays netball and learns dancing, Harper surfs and is involved in Nippers at the local surf club.
The pair said they had heaps of fun filming for the show, including an embarrassing moment when Harper was climbing up a wall and got stuck under a mat but was laughing too hard to get help.
Harper said she'd like to be on television again, perhaps as a lifeguard on a future episode of Bondi Rescue. While Georgia wants to be a professional netballer.
SLIME CUP premieres on Monday, July 1 at 5.30pm on Nickelodeon, Foxtel channel 701.
