A man has been accused of keeping a woman at knifepoint against her will in his Kanahooka home over the weekend.

A 19-year-old woman went to the man's home on Lakeside Drive about 9pm on Saturday but the following morning when she tried to leave the house at 6.30am the man, Liam Castor, allegedly produced a knife and threatened the woman.
After several hours of alleged threats, the woman left the property and later reported the incident to Wollongong police.
Lake Illawarra police officers attended the home and placed the 22-year-old man under arrest at about 2.45am on Monday.
He was taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station and charged with taking a person intending to commit intimidation, which is a serious indictable offence; and contravene prohibition in an apprehended violence order.
The man was did not apply for bail and it was formally refused bail in Wollongong Local Court on Monday.
The case was adjourned to Tuesday in Wollongong Local Court.
