James Webster plays in the Queensland Premier League and is based at Hamilton due to his work commitments but he is an Illawarra junior, leaving Wenty Leagues' Trent Whittingham as the lone true visitor in the last eight.
Whittingham is already in Sunday's fours final as part of Shane Garvey's rink and takes on Wiseman Park young gun Jordan Taylor on Friday for a singles semi-final spot.
Webster meets 2018 champion Dylan Skinner who is playing his final event for Dapto Citizens before joining Cabramatta.

In the other quarter-finals, it's an all Albion Park match-up with pairs partners Chris McLay and Corey Thompson to face off, while talented teenager Daniel Davies (Windang) meets Warilla's Jackaroos star Jesse Noronha, who has come close to winning the singles a couple of times.
The quarter-finals and semi-finals are scheduled for Friday, with the final of all events to be held on Sunday at headquarters Kiama Bowling Club.
