The three-year-old filly broke her maiden with a comfortable victory on Randwick's Kensington track in December, with Williams and trainer Gwenda Markwell opting to send the horse for a brief spell.
Now she's back in work, Williams said they will look to progress Electric Girl through the grades before choosing a specific race to target.
"We could've kept her going, but decided to have a short spell," Williams said. "You've got to do that with horses, help them along, not burn them out.
"We're heading for a Platinum BOBS race for her. I always have high ambitions for my horses, but I'm also realistic. We'll push her through the grades and if they show promise, we'll keep building, like we did with Angel of Truth.
"She'll be best suited to 1600 metres, but she should still be able to run a good 1200m or 1400m race and she may go further than 1600m."
