A man is due to face court today following an investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of a young girl in the Illawarra.

He was charged with two counts of intentionally sexually touching a child (between 10 and 16 years) and indecent assault of a person under 16 years.
Police will allege in court that the man sexually abused the girl on three occasions between 2014 and 2019, while she was in his care.
He appeared at Wollongong Local Court on May 6 and was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Nowra Local Court today.
