Health and Sustainability Grants: We're offering Health and Sustainability Grants of up to $1,500 to promote health and sustainability in our community. The aim is to bring together local residents and community groups with an interest in health and sustainability to drive small projects to improve the health and environmental outcomes.
Kerbside collection trial begins: We've begun the trial of our user-pays on-call kerbside collection service. The service allows residents to have their unwanted household items collected by our waste services team, for a subsidised fee.
Double House Bulky Waste: We've also doubled our efforts to help our community tackle household bulky waste, with not one, but two FREE Household Bulky Waste Drop Offs a year. This allows residents two opportunities to dispose of larger items we can't collect such as mattresses, furniture, sporting goods, lounges and rugs:
12 -20 September 2020 (bookings from 1 August)
13 - 21 March 2021
