Cody Perrin, an alleged associate of the Finks outlaw motorcycle gang, is facing 27 charges stemming from an alleged campaign of sustained and degrading abuse against the woman, which allegedly saw her repeatedly choked unconscious, punched, kicked, bitten and spat on.
Details of the alleged bashings was revealed for the first time in Wollongong Local Court on Wednesday as Perrin sought release on bail after months in custody on remand.
Police documents said Perrin and the victim met in mid-2015 through a Facebook interaction about drugs and struck up a relationship.
Two weeks later, the pair was getting ready for Perrin's cousin's wedding when the victim realised she'd forgotten some of her clothes and wanted to go home and get them.
They got into an argument and Perrin demanded to accompany her.
He allegedly called her a "putrid slut" while they were in the car and began bashing her, repeatedly punching her and spitting in her face.
He allegedly then picked up a nail file from the centre console and began stabbing her in the body, leaving her with small scratch marks.
She kicked him out of the car but returned to the house a short time later, at which time Perrin allegedly grabbed her by the hair, pushed her to the ground and choked her until she passed out.
She told police she woke up to Perrin sitting on top of her, slapping her to wake her up.
She tried to flee the house but was allegedly prevented from leaving by Perrin, who she claimed then grabbed hold of a knife, pointed it at her and began "lashing it at her with a swooshing motion".
The knife allegedly cut her on the left side of the stomach, drawing blood.
He then contacted his mother, who came to pick him up a short time later.
The court heard the pair didn't speak for several days however Perrin eventually called and messaged her, asking for forgiveness and seeking to rekindle their romance
The victim relented and agreed to resume their relationship.
However, police will allege Perrin continued to brutally bash and choke the victim unconscious throughout the course of their time together, often leaving her with injuries that remained visible for weeks after the attacks.
In one incident, Perrin allegedly punched the victim in the arm so many times that she was forced to have it drained for excessive blood that had become trapped under the skin.
During another incident, when the woman allegedly plucked up the courage to kick Perrin out of her house, she returned to her home later the same day to discover it trashed. She told police she observed liquid that smelt strongly of urine all over her lounge, bed, on the floors and inside the bathroom.
It is also alleged Perrin continued abusing the woman during two pregnancies.
Court documents said she lost the second child after suffering a miscarriage following what police will allege was a particularly brutal beating at the hands of Perrin when she refused to drive him to the Finks clubhouse.
The relationship eventually ended and the woman reported the alleged incidents to police.
Perrin was already in jail on unrelated matters when he was interviewed by police in February this year and charged.
He denied most of the allegations but admitted to having been heavily affected by drugs throughout their relationship and said he could not recall some of the incidents mentioned.
Perrin sought release on bail in court on Wednesday on account of prosecution delays in the case, however Magistrate Les Mabbutt refused the application, noting even if Perrin was convicted of just one of the 27 charges, he faced a lengthy prison term.
The case will return to court in August.
Other allegations of violence:
*Perrin allegedly threw the victim on the ground during an argument at her home. He allegedly punched and kicked her, called her a dog and said "you wanna be a dog, Il'l treat you like a dog. Get on ya hands and knees, crawl over and cook". Fearing Perrin's wrath, the woman said she began to crawl to the kitchen but feeling humiliated, got up off the ground. Perrin allegedly flew into another fit of rage and bashed and bit the woman, leaving her with significant welt makes on her body.
*Perrin allegedly gouged the woman's eye during an argument while he held her head outside her bathroom window, up against a drainpipe. Court documents said Perrin's finger entered the woman's eye, and he pushed it further in until it went behind her eyeball, causing a popping noise to occur. She screamed "my f--king eye" and Perrin allegedly relented, saying "sorry, sorry, show me" before getting a cold press for her face. She said her eye swelled up and remained a deep black for several weeks.
*In September 2016, Perrin was allegedly on an ice binge and hadn't washed or changed his clothes in days when he held her against her will for four days, making her drive around to different drug houses so they could smoke ice at each location. The pair slept in car at night and spent the days driving around from drug dealer to drug dealer, the woman said, telling police she was too scared to run away.
