"We've had five lambs and three kids (baby goats) born just this week, with more set to arrive very soon," spokeswoman Vanessa Fookes said.
"The farm tours allow visitors to visit the baby animals, plus feed the three piglets we've just brought in and say 'hi' to the new alpaca we've hired to protect the sheep and goat herd from foxes."
Other workshops by the social enterprise starting up this spring range from two-day events like the "Introduction to Permaculture" to short courses on fruit trees and forests.
"This workshop looks at the different types of fruit trees we can grow in our part of the world and teaches participants how best to care for these trees," Ms Fookes said.
"This is a short workshop suitable for those who want a productive garden full of fruits, nuts, berries and tubers; for those who want an aesthetically beautiful ecosystem that also obtains a yield.
"Also, for those who would like a low-maintenance, wild garden that provides food and flowers for their household."
Farm tours take in most of the 11-acre urban wilderness and market garden, and will run most Fridays and Saturdays of the school holidays at 1:00pm, (bookings essential).
Tickets are $14, but children aged 0-2 years are free.
Proceeds from all workshops and tours on the farm go to Green Connect, a social enterprise that employs young people and former refugees to grow fair food and reduce waste to landfill.
