Christopher Arfarnis, 55, fronted Wollongong Local Court on Wednesday where he was committed for sentence after being charged with supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis.
Arfarnis' defence lawyer formally entered a plea of guilty during the brief court appearance before the matter was adjourned to Wollongong District Court for sentencing proceedings on February 26.
In agreed facts tendered to court, Arfarnis came to the attention of the Wollongong Drug Unit who were investigating the supply of prohibited drugs in the area. Officers undertook controlled operations to catch Arfarnis.
Police said Arfarnis' Thirroul home was well set-up with a CCTV system installed to monitor the front fence, which was locked and secured.
Police monitored and recorded four sales of a small amount of meth in exchange for $200 on May 14, 21, 28 and June 4.
The exchanges happened in a car outside Arfarnis' home, near the front gate and twice in his garage. A buyer would sometimes pick up the ice or Arfarnis would walk the drugs out the buyer.
The quantities of meth seized and analysed were 0.47 grams at 39 per cent purity, 0.39 grams at 55 per cent purity, 0.45 gram at 46 purity and 0.33 grams at 79 per cent purity.
Arfarnis was arrested on August 5 while reporting to Wollongong police on bail.
He remains on conditional bail.
