Police are appealing for help from the public to identify the women, who wore protective face masks as they entered the store with their own "granny cart"- style shopping trolleys on January 29.
The Mercury understands the women selected several items of clothing before tripping a security alarm at the store's exit. When security staff approached they allegedly kept walking.
The matter was reported to police, with the women described as being approximately eight months pregnant.
Wollongong Police have released a picture of two women who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
Officers are calling on anyone who recognises the women to make contact on 4226 7899 or via Crime Stoppers (1800 333 000).
