Senior Constable Cremer is going to perform burpees for 10 hours, and all in aid of a great cause, the ALIVE Project, a community-driven organisation dedicated to ending suicide in young people in Australia.
A self-confessed 'fitness nut' Snr Const Cremer will be performing the burpees, that dreaded exercise that starts with a push up followed by a leap into the year to raise money for ALIVE.
He will start his 10-hour ordeal at Osborne Park (Kangaroo Valley Showground) at 8.30pm (Friday, September 10) and continue through until 6am.
"Despite COVID and all the restrictions the event is still going ahead," he said.
"We will be following all the parameters of the lockdown.

"It will be me and the beautiful Kangaroo Valley Showground for 10 hours.
"The conditions are said to be perfect for 10 hours of burpees," he joked.
He believes his 10-hour effort, which will see him perform around 4000 burpees and cover around 10 kilometres during his jumping efforts.
He said people were welcome to come past but please keep in mind the health orders.
Or you could do some burpees at home, tag @swatfitpt and or @alive.org to show your support.
And his fundraising efforts have so far raised $9000.
"A huge thank you to everyone who has so far supported me, it is much appreciated," he said.
"A massive thank you for everyone is in order."

And it's all going to be in aid of a great cause, the ALIVE Project, a community-driven organisation dedicated to ending suicide in young people in Australia.
"ALIVE is a great organisation that runs preventative programs all aimed at ending youth suicide," Snr Const Cremer said.
"As little as $25 can keep a young person in the ALIVE program for a year.
"My aim is to raise not only awareness of youth suicide and the great work ALIVE does, but also raise money so the organisation can continue to provide it's much needed programs.
"They are programs that are for everyone, indigenous and non-indigenous.
"Youth suicuide is a major problem and one we, as a community, need to work together to address.
"Also I'm a country copper, I want to engage with my community and be here when needed, not just for policing issues - I want to bridge the gap. I'm approachable."
Snr Const Cremer has been training for the event for a number of months.
"Training has been full on in the lead, with most fitness sessions of late I've even been wearing a weighted vest," he said.
Why burpees?
"I suppose it shows no matter how many times you get knocked down, you get back up again," he said.
