Kerim Atila Yavuz, aged 31, was a passenger in a car pulled over by police on King Street Warrawong at 12.30pm on November 19.
Police said the driver was "nervous, shaking and sweating" when they spoke to him; when they asked where the pair had been going Yavuz said they were "going to see Elvis down the road".
Police allege that when they searched the car they found a black shoulder bag owned by Yavuz containing a pack of Winfield Blues and a resealable plastic bag police say contained just under 15g of methylamphetamine.

Police say when asked Yavuz confessed the crystals were ice; he was then arrested and taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station, where he was charged with drug supply.
Yavuz applied for bail at Wollongong Bail Court on Saturday. His lawyer told the court Yavuz weighed "in excess of 200kg," and his "morbid obesity" would cause difficulty in custody and make him a vulnerable person.
Police opposed bail, saying Yavuz was serving a Community Corrections order at the time of his arrest, and that he had eight prior charges on his record, including charges related to driving unlicensed, drug possession, fraud and having stolen goods in his custody.
Yavuz was denied bail, due to the seriousness of the charge he faces, and his "lengthy offending history". He will return to Wollongong Local Court on Monday.
