KidsWish was thrilled to deliver the spoils of its annual Christmas toy drive, with more than 250 toys handed out to patients in Wollongong Hospital children's ward and three schools in the area that support children with disabilities.
A spokeswoman said while they could not take Santa with them this year to personally hand out the toys due to COVID-19 restrictions, the hospital and schools received the gifts with open arms.
She said the toys were loaded into the Wollongong Mazda KidsWish vehicle and delivered to Peterborough School at Warilla, Para Meadows School at North Wollongong, Aspect South Coast School at Corrimal and Wollongong Hospital.
Among the generous donations this year were about 50 gifts collected by Ray White Gerringong, which held its own "Little Ray Of Giving" campaign in the local community.
KidzWish Foundation was founded in 2004 to provide high-quality services to families and children with disabilities.
This year it became a member of The Disability Trust Group and changed its name to KidsWish.
