Wollongong Undergraduate Students Association (WUSA) will lead a protest about the university's decision to use the Proctorio online examination integrity system.
A WUSA meeting held earlier this week discussed concerns about student privacy and wellbeing raised by the use of the extension.
Students at the meeting branded the use of Proctorio an unethical way to complete online exams and again called on the university to abandon its use.
Earlier this month UOW told the Mercury the decision was not cost-driven, but instead about quality of learning.
In response to privacy concerns, the university emphasised that the information is encrypted and placed on a secure server.
The protest will be held at the UOW Library on Wednesday, May 4 from 12.30pm.
