Kristine Krkovska, 20, was arrested in October 2021 and charged with drug supply offences after her mother, Lida Milenkovska, roped her only daughter into helping her run her heroin dealing business from their Warrawong home.
Krkovska was remanded in custody at the time before entering a plea of guilty to an ongoing drug supply charge.
She was subsequently sentenced to 10 months' jail, with a non-parole period of five months.
Court documents reveal Krkovska was released on parole on March 20 this year, but returned to her old ways within days - this time to help her new boyfriend, who she had begun dating while in prison.
The court heard officers attached to the Lake Illawarra proactive crime team raided Krkovska's home in Jane Avenue on April 21, where they discovered 4.53 grams of heroin, 0.58 grams of methamphetamine and 4.2 grams of cannabis.
They also seized three mobile phones which showed communication between Krkovska and unnamed people about the purchase of the illegal drugs.
The mother-of-one was arrested and taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station where she was charged with one count of drug supply and four counts of drug possession.
She told police she had been assisting her boyfriend - a known Illawarra criminal - in supplying the drugs.
Krkovska pleaded guilty to all five charges in Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday, with defence lawyer Jonathan Kearney arguing her role had been a "very limited one".
"My instructions are ...her phone was used because [her boyfriend] didn't have a phone," he said.
"Essentially it was situation where she was asked if her phone could be used for the purpose of those transactions."
Mr Kearney urged the court to consider imposing a community-based sentence, claiming Krkovska was "inexperienced, immature and vulnerable".
However Magistrate Claire Girotto rejected the submission, noting Krkovska had been on parole at the time. She jailed Krkovska for two months, back-dated to her arrest date. Krkovska will be released from custody on June 20.
