‘REVERSE AUSTRALIA FAIR’
One thing that the Scott Morrison Government can save money on is the crappy Do Not Call Register.

It was never upgraded to keep pace with changes in technology.
Designed to deter unwanted calls from annoying sales centers, this register is absolutely ignored by most Australian sellers and all overseas countries.
Badly in need of implementation, is the ability to block access by any overseas country’s website or phone calls.
Not one telecommunications service provider is willing to block any illegal activity by overseas countries from getting through to Australian services.
Every day we read of international scams ruining the lives of many innocent people who's only mistake was to answer the phone or open an email.
We no longer get " warning beeps " on long distance calls, and everything is now given the local phone call status.
Service providers take no responsibility or interest in calls.
Another case of Reverse Australia Fair.

REGULATION URGENTLY NEEDED
For decades now many Australians have been decrying the neo-liberal privatisation of government services and assets.
Government delivered and regulated services have been gifted or sold to both for profit and not for profit operators.
Decades of underfunding, cost cutting, under-resourcing and rent seeking has since occurred with consequential failures in governance, systems and most importantly care. At the same time the cost of these services have increased exponentially.
The banking Royal Commission, and now ScoMo’s attempts to institute commissions into electricity and aged care are clear indications that this ideology has failed.
Enquiries are also required into the other failures such as the Jobs Network, early childhood care, airports, toll roads and the looming disaster that is the NDIS.
The justification espoused to support this agenda (reduced cost to government and improved services) can now clearly been seen to have been lies and half truths sold as science.
Government control and regulation is urgently needed to protect the most vulnerable members of our society

FISHING IS SUNK
Witnessed yet again professional fishermen hauling fish off Oak Flats destroying juvenile fish and wildlife, a process scientist believe should be outlawed.
My uncle who was one of those on the lake stated 20 years age that this process would destroy the lakes fish life and guess what, we have succeeded.
With fish and prawn farms in full swing wild catch is not needed, wake up people and come down to the lake and witness the destruction,
Peter Tornaros, Oak Flats
