Stone in Govt shoe
Former PM Turnbull has been strutting the world stage - launching the odd stinger - that’s been designed to undermine the government.

Rather than support government policy, an aggrieved Turnbull has been uttering his own personal views and opinions.
How did it get to this? This is the unwanted award Mr Morrison and Australia have been receiving for giving Turnbull the opportunity to officially represent Australia.
Turnbull’s loose language has been a metaphorical ‘stone’ in the new government’s shoe’s. Given another opportunity to officially represent Australia a piqued Turnbull will have a global ‘megaphone’ and a broad audience to singularly bring down the Morrison Government. This will be the ‘prize’ Morrison receives for another very poor ‘captain’s call’.

Which facts are facts?
Dave Cox tells me to get my facts right concerning NBN equipment. In his original letter, 20/10/18, Mr Cox states, and I quote,"it can only be owned and maintained by NBN". These are the facts I used to write my letter. Today 29/10/18, Mr Cox states that Telstra is totally responsible for the service and organising repairs.
So now NBN is not responsible for maintenance. Which of your "facts" should we believe Mr Cox?

Recipe for bedlam
I read in The Illawarra Mercury, Digital Edition October 25, a really comprehensive summary of where the plans for redevelopment of the Corrimal Coke Works site is up to.
The developer is to be Legacy Property, which seems to specialise in very large scale developments. According to the Illawarra Coke Company's latest newsletter to residents, Legacy Property has been engaged to ensure the original vision for the Corrimal Cokeworks property "becomes a reality". This original vision is for 736 residences on the site.
This vision would ensure traffic chaos for Corrimal and surrounding areas. Add to the Coke Works 736 homes the 66 going up opposite, at the Corrimal Leagues Club site.
These all have to exit onto Railway Street. Then don't forget the 300 plus current homes and businesses north of the site, which can also only exit via Railway Street between the railway crossing and Memorial Drive. Now you have the recipe for bedlam. Sounds crazy, and it will be. The residents of Corrimal and surrounds look forward to some meaningful consultation on this issue.

Taking a stand
I boarded the 1146 train from Wollongong to Sydney last Saturday, and yes you guessed it I had to stand.
Yes this is another rant from myself and I can see people rolling their eyes and calling me a serial winger and pest.
I know that there are people that are quite comfortable and couldn't give a rats but it wasn't long ago where this didn't happen you purchased a ticket and you got a seat, someone has to get this out there and let these shower of parliamentarians know that paying full fare and standing on a train is not on in 2018.
