The Box in the Corner and The TV Show exhibitions celebrate Australian television since its inception in 1956, as well as reflecting on the shifting role it plays in the digital age. Both incorporate mixed medium from wall hangings to video.
The Summer Love exhibition brings some gems from the gallery’s vault out into the public eye again.
The collection is a mix of works with a coastal feel – expect bikinis, beaches, barbecues plus all things sun drenched and hot.
While the Locals on Board exhibition celebrates the uniqueness of 198 local artists and their practices with a collection of commissioned artworks.
Each creative was given a board to express their thoughts on living in the Illawarra.
Wollongong Art Gallery opens Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 5pm, and weekends from 12pm to 4pm.
