Now in its 28th year, the Rotary Club of Kiama will present their annual Antiques and Retro Fair with dealers bringing their wares from the South Coast, Sydney, regional NSW and some from interstate.
Main organiser John Worstencroft said they expect around 1200 people across the weekend to peruse the eclectic wares.
“There are people who sell old bottles, antique signs, its so varied,” Mr Worstencroft said.
“Most of the dealers do a number of fairs, when they move around they buy in one place and sell in another.
“I used to have one dealer that used to have 32 shows a year and lived in a caravan.”
Dozens of traders will have a wide selection of furniture, jewelry, silver, china, porcelain, textiles, books, toys, coins, tins, military memorabilia, antiques and many other interesting artifacts on display and available to purchase.
Mr Worstencroft said money raised will go towards their various charities.
Light refreshments will be available. Entry is by a donation of $10 per adult, $7 concession and accompanied children are free.
The Kiama Rotary Antiques Fair runs Saturday January 19 to Sunday January 20 at the Kiama Leisure Centre on Havilah Place.
