Researchers from the Australian Centre for Culture, Environment, Society and Space (ACCESS) and from the Animal Studies Research Network (ASRN) will share ideas and developments from their research.
The first lecture on March 21, will be on practices of environmental listening. Some of the topics to be covered in future months include: Aboriginal women and cultural burning, feral deer being the "cane toads of the escarpment", birds, ecologies and more.
Speakers include Michelle Duffy, Vanessa Cavanagh, Alison Rotha Moore, Joshua Lobb, Lou Glover, Michael Adams, Leah Gibbs and Yamini Narayanan.
Each lecture will run on a Thursday from 5pm to 6:30pm with refreshments provided. www.wollongongartgallery.com
