The "restaurant closed" sign is still in the window, and a copy of the Critinis menu is on the wall outside, while just this week the shop fittings began to be cleared out.
But as of Thursday, the wine glasses were still hanging over the bar.
A spokesman for administrators Worrells Solvency and Forensic Accountants said they had given GPT notice they did not plan to exercise any rights to the property.
"So the landlord disclaimed the lease and is free to commence a new lease with another tenant," the spokesman said.
As for the interiors, the spokesman said a buyer had been found.
"The furnishings, fittings, seatings and other items have been sold and are awaiting collection by the new purchaser," he said.
"It's not know whether this party intends or would lease the property themselves."
A spokesman for GPT confirmed they now had possession of the site and have been in discussions with a number of food and beverage operators to take up the spot.
The Keira Street restaurant strip has had a chequered history, with a number of outlets shutting up shop since Wollongong Central expansion opened in 2014.
Since then the food outlets on that strip that have come and gone include Outback Jacks, Max Brenner, Charlie Lovett cafe and bakery, Yogurberry and Coco Cubano.
