The uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic's future impact on live performances has led to the annual Wollongong music festival being pushed back to next year.
Last month, co-organiser Ben Tillman told the Mercury they'd had imminent plans to announce the dates for Yours & Owls 2020 to take place on the October long weekend, as they have done for the past few years.
However, with so much uncertainty, they have decided to move their dates for the Stuart Park event to January to give them the best chance of the festival going ahead.
"The safety and wellbeing of our community is supreme," the promoters said in a statement on Thursday.
"We will be working with local health advisors right up until gates open to ensure the festival is operating within whatever parameters are needed come January 2021."
The ticketing pre-sale starts from July 22 at 8.30am. More details here.
