A man has been put into an induced coma after an apparent bashing at Tahmoor.

The 20-year-old was found by police with serious facial and head injuries after reports of an assault at a carpark in Thirlmere Way in Tahmoor on December 27.

Arriving at the carpark at 5.00am, police found the man with significant injuries.
The man was then transported to Liverpool Hospital where he is still in an induced coma.
Witnesses told police a small hatchback arrived and left the scene during the time of the alleged assault.
At the scene, officers from Camden police Area Command formed a crime scene and began looking into the circumstances surrounding the assault.
