BOOK lovers get ready for an amazing three days the Lifeline South Coast Big Book Fair is on again. Illawarra Sports Stadium, Berkeley - Fred Finch Park, Hooka Creek Road, Berkeley.
FANGIRLS
IPAC, Thursday March 18 to Sunday March 21
A musical comedy aimed at all ages, and designed to make you feel like you're at an epic pop concert.
Edna is 14 and head over heels in love with Harry - he's beautiful, talented, perfect, but there's just one problem: he's also the star of the world's biggest boyband. Getting Harry's attention might seem impossible, but there's nothing that Edna won't do to prove to Harry that she's the one.

L'ETAPE AUSTRALIA CYCLING EVENT
Kiama and surrounds, Friday March 19 and Saturday March 20
It's a first for Kiama after four successful years in the Snowy Mountains, with thousands of competitors plus their friends and family expected to descend upon the area across Friday and Saturday.
The event is split into two: The Race, which is a 136km mountainous route based on a similar format to a genuine Tour de France stage; and The Ride, an easier 80km without tough climbs (with e-Bikes also allowed).
Participants, spectators and bike enthusiasts can visit the L'Étape village setup at Coronation Park in Kiama - it will have live music, food stalls, a bar, official merchandise, and cycling-related exhibitions.
Tickets are free through www.eventbrite.com.au but must be presented to access the village to be COVID-safe.

Music Lounge, Wollongong, Friday March 19
She has released chart topping albums and singles such as 'Alive', 'Super Love' and 'Gladiator' and last year released her uplifting and powerful new single 'Paper Dragon'.
She went onto become Eurovision Royalty in 2016 when she earned the highest score ever achieved by an Australian entry with her global chart-topping song 'Sound of Silence'.
Dami Im plays two shows at Wollongong Town Hall on Friday. Tickets are still available via www.merrigong.com.au
CULTURAL TREASURES CONCERT
Shellharbour Civic Centre, Friday March 19
Masha Mnjoyan is the official winner of The Voice of Armenia 2013, a finalist on The Voice Australia and has performed in Eurovision.
Sako Dermenjian is a superb classical guitarist born and raised in Syria, who is now based in the Illawarra. He too has won several awards, performed in front of a global audience at Tedx and is sponsored by Yamaha.
The pair will peform a free concert from 11:30am to 1pm on the lawn outside the Shellharbour Civic Centre.
MR PERFECT BBQ
North Wollongong, Sunday March 21
Mr Perfect is a grassroots charity that brings men together at BBQs in local parks across Australia, to create community and connection - they also provide support, information and resources for the good of men's health.
The format is simple, informal and completely inclusive. It is a chance to get out of the house in the sun, have a feed, socialise and connect with some great people.
It's on this Sunday from 10:30am to 12:30pm, according to their Facebook page.
NEVER ENDING 80s + DIRTY DANCING
Hoyts Warrawong, Sunday March 21
Take a trip back in time for a live in-cinema event HOYTS Warrawong.
Never Ending '80s are one of the hottest tribute bands in Australia, and will play a live concert in between two parts of the iconic '80s film Dirty Dancing.
There's also be '80s trivia and patrons are encouraged to get dressed up. Tickets through www.hoyts.com.au
Never Ending 80s will be back again on April 18 with a screening of Footloose.
MINI MUSIC FESTIVAL
Port Kembla, Friday March 19 to Sunday March 21
Hosted outdoors by the Art House Café in Port Kembla, this festival will run over the weekend and showcase 37 local bands and artists.
It is a ticketed event, though BYO. Family and pet-friendly.
THE SHY POSTIE
Wollongong
This weekend will see ticketed gigs with Crocodylus, Scab Baby, Swells, Sunscreen, Classic and Plain Wonder.
The Shy Postie not only serves coffee and cocktails but is also to be a platform for musicians, visual artists and the LGBTIQA+ community, according to its owners.
